MRE's were originally designed by the US Department of Defense for soldiers in the field. With the same technology, they are now delicious, ready-to-eat meals to keep you going during your most rigorous adventures. For traveling, boating, hunting, camping, hiking or anytime a portable easy-to-carry food source is needed, MRE's are the ideal solution. Great food and transportable! Each tasty and nutritious meal is packaged in its own pouch and contains enough protein, vitamins and nutrients to sustain even the most active person. Entree's are roughly 8-ounces and side dishes are roughly 4.5 - 5.0-ounces. Ready-to-eat they require no preparation. Each complete meal comes in a sealed pouch with one entree, an assorted side dish, crackers, spread, cookie, pastry, beverage mix, and an accessory pack (accessory packs contain - spoon, salt, pepper, coffee, sweetener, chewing gum, matches and a moist towelette). There are twelve different entrees per case, some cases may contain 6 different entrees with two of each kind. Meals are ONLY sold by the case - ABSOLUTELY no cases are divided up for sale.
